TEACHER PROFESIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS

Friday 23 March 2018
Food and Fibre Education SA invites all teachers to attend a two day professional development workshop and tour to discover the range of careers and opportunities in science, food and fibre and agricultural based industries.
Covering horticulture, broad-acre agriculture, science and innovation, livestock, animal nutrition and food production, the professional development workshop provides an insight into the learning pathways required for a career in the industry, gives new ideas for teaching science and agricultural science in context, and gives new ideas for real world learning in the classroom. The workshop will build your networks with science and industry and provide you with new contacts for student work placements. It also showcases the entry requirements to study science or agricultural science at the University of Adelaide.

WHO: Rural or metro based:
- Teachers of science, nutrition, biology, chemistry, geography, PLP and agriculture
- School based career counsellors or VET coordinators
COST:
