Our passion is to help teachers and students learn about Australian food and fibre
AgCommunicators’ education team – Belinda Cay and Sue Pratt – have a combined 50 years’ experience in agricultural education. With an expert and practical knowledge of the Australian school curriculum and how agricultural examples can support multiple subjects, they have designed interactive lessons, programs and initiatives for teachers and students.
They work in classrooms and in the field to deliver education programs and professional development experiences. Their ultimate reward is helping to increase understanding of food production and connecting young people to a rewarding career in our great industry.
Education services
We design curriculum-aligned food and fibre lessons and programs for teachers and students and deliver in the classroom.
We run educational but fun field trips so teachers and students can see primary production in action first-hand.
We develop original industry-linked agricultural curriculum resources for teachers to use.
Teachers can ensure their knowledge and skills are up-to-date by attending one of our industry-backed professional development sessions.
